Martin Fanning See all Our People

Martin joined Windmill Lane Pictures in 2016 as Head of the Assistants Department. Prior to that, he had worked for 15 years in both post facilities and as a freelance assistant on features, dramas and documentaries.

His lifelong passion for movies and film making can be traced back to sitting in the Savoy Screen 1, at the age of 4 and reading on screen, ‘A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away’.
However, it was at the age of 8, watching JAWS through the gaps in his fingers, that he finally wondered, ‘How did they do that?’.

His greatest achievement is that he remains happy (most of the time). His worst trait is writing about himself in the third person.
