John has been with Windmill Lane for over 25 years working as an artist, creative director and VFX supervisor.
During the 2000’s, John worked with directors such as Stephen Soderbergh, John Boorman, Neil Jordan & Oliver Hirschbiegel and it was work on these projects that contributed to the establishment of WLVFX in 2010, where John played a key role for its first couple of years.
Returning to advertising for a period, he established Windmill Create, a multi award winning motion design and content creation studio within Windmill while continuing to contribute to VFX projects such as Terminal, Jadotville and Outlander. Recently refocused solely on VFX he has headed up projects such as A Discovery of Witches(Sky), Kin(AMC) and Avenue 5(HBO).
