Catherine Synnott

Interim CEO

Catherine Synnott See all Our People

Catherine always wanted to be an accountant and worked out that the quickest way to do that was to go and work for an accounting firm.
Between 1998 and 2002 she completed her training contract and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

She worked at Windmill from 2002 to 2004 but got the travel bug and wanted to see the world. A six month stint in Australia turned into eight years thanks to the booming Australian economy and while she was there she worked for European banks (ABN Amro & UBS) for most of that time.

When she returned to Europe, she had a bit of extra luggage, with two children on board. During a two and half year career break she had her third child.

When she returned to work, Catherine worked with a number of companies as a Financial Consultant on a range of projects. She returned to Windmill Lane in 2017 as Finance Director and oversees the entire financial management of the company. Catherine became Interim CEO October 2023.
