Galway Film Fleadh 2017

The 29th Galway Film Fleadh runs from July 11th-16th and Windmill Lane Pictures are delighted to have worked on ten of the films screening!

Maze

The world premiere of Maze will be screened at the Film Fleadh! The film is based on the 1983 escape from Northern Ireland’s Maze prison and was directed by Stephen Burke and produced by Jane Doolan. Full picture and sound post production took place at Windmill Lane Pictures and Number 4 with VFX completed by Windmill VFX.

Away With the Fairies

Director Helen Flanagan's short film reveals how a distressed and exhausted new mother Maura becomes fixated on the idea that there might be sinister forces at work, deliberately causing her baby’s unease. Produced by Sarah Gunn for Treasure Entertainment. Mixed by Number 4.

11th Hour

This short film by Jim Sheridan focuses on the evening of 9/11, a bar is heaving with locals united in grief and anger; a cop pulls his gun. Then a surprise visitor enters. Produced by Rachel Lysaght, Raul Padilla, Oskar Slingerland & Rodolfo Guzman. Mixed by Number 4.

Caroline Campbell's short film takes the viewer to a remote beach in the west of Ireland as Anne begins her journey to become the Bellwether, the sheep that can lead the flock. Produced by Ailish Bracken. Mixed by Number 4.

In the short film For You, a socially isolated girl struggles with her alcoholic mother until an act of devotion from her boyfriend offers relief and the strength to love.Directed by Brendan Canty and produced by David Lester Mooney for Hinterland Films. Mixed by Number 4.
