Very fond of the Z key, artificial explosions, all@ work emails, Oxford commas and also proud of his Roscommon roots, Sol is an experienced Sound Mixer and Senior Sound Editor.
Sol specialises in animation, but in more recent times has mixed programmes, commercials and feature documentaries for many of our top clients.
Since working on our first animated series, the world-famous DOC MCSTUFFINS for Brown Bag Films, he has developed a passion for animation, most recently mixing Netflix’s CHICO BON BON.
Some highlights include CBBC’s DANGER MOUSE (IFTA nominated and Irish Animation Award winner for Best Sound on the series two years in a row), BING, PETER RABBIT, GO JETTERS, TRANSFORMERS RESCUEBOTS ACADEMY and LITTLEST PET SHOP. He has worked on several feature films including Aisling Walsh’s MAUDIE, Jim Sheridan’s THE SECRET SCRIPTURE, Dave Tynan’s DUBLIN OLD SCHOOL and Kim Bartley’s feature documentary PURE GRIT.
