Janice has worked in post-production for 13 years and is one of Windmill’s senior editors. She has many years’ experience editing successful prime time programmes, as well as many commercials & shorts.
Janice has recently completed feature documentary ‘Where I Am’ with Pamela Drynan for Subotica which screened to great acclaim in JDIFF and Slamdance. This documentary will continue on the festival circuit this year. She has also just finished documentary ‘Death on the Railroad’ with Keith Farrell for Tile Films which will air as part of the Secrets of the Dead strand on PBS. Last year she edited ‘The New Irish’, a 6 part series for Animo Television which was nominated in the best documentary series category in the IFTA’s (Kim Bartley). Along with documentary work last year she edited the highly rating and successful comedy series ‘The Mario Rosenstock Show’ with Damien Farrell, Caboom. Over the years she has cut a number of successful entertainment shows such as ‘Anonymous’ (Darren Smith, Kite Entertainment) & ‘Stars Go Racing’ (Ciaran Tanham & Gerry Nelson) and also many factual documentaries such as ‘End of Ageing’ (Ruán Magan,Tile Films) and Pensions Shock (Niamh Sammon, Animo TV) to name but a few.
She is currently working on a two part documentary with Kim Bartley for Loose Horse which is shot over two years and will air this coming autumn on RTE.

She originally started her editing career in commercials and has over the years worked with Ireland’s top production companies, directors & agencies such as Max Films, Red Rage, Boys&Girls, Russell Curran, H2 Films, & Fish Films amongst others. Some of her most recent commercial work includes international campaigns such as Strongbow Gold for Max Films and Digicel for Boys & Girls. Other commercial work includes national campaigns such as Bank of Ireland, 3Mobile, Heineken, PTSB, McDonalds & The Referendum Commission.
