Love/Hate Series 3

Love/Hate is back on air after a long wait! Windmill Lane is delighted to
have worked again with the fantastic team on the show. The new series sees
the reign of King Nidge (Tom Vaughan-Lawlor) begin, after the death of the
erratic and paranoid John Boy. However, Nidge finds himself dissatisfied
with his new power, and becomes blinded to the cracks already showing in the
gang. Darren (Robert Sheehan) has lost his brother and his love, and is back
at Nidge’s side, but his loyalty is yet to be tested. Fran (Peter Coonan)
is out of prison and back in the fold, but he too has his own agendas and
grudges. And Tommy’s (Killian Scott) family life is jeopardised by his
on-off relationship with Debbie (Susan Loughnane).
The third season was cut in Windmill Lane by Dermot Diskin, with assistant
editor Stephen Kidney. Colourist Matt Branton worked closely with DOP David
Odd on the grade for the series. The sound team consisted of Chris
Whiteside, dialogue editor Fionan Higgins, sound mixer Dean Jones and sound
supervisor Fiadhnait McCann. VFX were completed by Rob Hartigan and John
Kennedy and all online work was handled by Robbie O’Farrell. Post supervisor
was Mary Gilroy and coordinated by Sarah Caraher at Windmill Lane.

The six one hour episodes were written by Stuart Carolan, produced by
Suzanne McAuley & Steve Matthews and directed by David Caffrey for Octagon
Films. Tune in for Show 1 on Sunday at 9:30am
