Windmill Lane Pictures provided picture post production services for Albert Nobbs from the early stage of production right up to DI finishing and DCP delivery. Alan Moloney, Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn produced the film with Rodrigo Garcia’s directing.
Windmill colourist Dave Hughes spent two weeks carefully grading on Baselight with the film’s DOP Michael McDonough (Winter’s Bone) to create an atmospheric period feel of candle lit Victorian Dublin. Great care was taken by Dave to match the film’s DCP to its original film DI as Michael was determined to make sure that the digital reproduction quality would be as good as the film print.
