O2 Play Them Next

O2 Play Them Next was directed by Paddy Breathnach of Top Films for Rothco. This spot and the series of stings was created with the intention of counteracting the remoteness of the Rugby World Cup Venue and time difference by evoking the close bond between Irish rugby players and their supporters. The production process was kept as low key as loose as possible to allow for spontaneity. In post editor Eamon Power worked through a great deal of material as multiple radio mics and two cameras were used, shooting long takes – documentary style. The spot was composited in Flame by Mark Bailey and graded in Baselight by Matt Branton.
