What in the World
What in the World: 4 × 30mins Shows
What In The World? Returned to RTE this spring with a new four-part series focusing on the Millennium Development Goals featuring compelling stories from some of the poorest people on the planet in Bangladesh, Malawi, Vietnam and Zambia. Presented by Peadar King, This series focuses on the Millennium Development Goals, the commitment by the nations of the world “to free people from abject and dehumanising conditions of extreme poverty and to free the entire human race from want”. The programme asks challenging questions about the ability of the Millennium Development Goals to respond to the desperate conditions of people like Aminur Rahman.
The series is produced and presented by Peadar King, directed by Ruth Meehan and Bob O’Brien and edited by Ronán O’Muirgheasa and Bob O’Brien. In Windmill Lane it was graded by colourists Dave Hughes and Matt Branton and onlined by Alan Sullivan
