This Carzone TV spot was fully animated in 3D and composited in After Effects. The transitions were modeled on a ‘Transformers’ imaging style with complex rigs to deliver the transformation from cars to a phone, an iPod and a laptop. Windmill’s 3D team used complex animation techniques, realistic HDR lighting and rendering to complete the resulting energetic commercial. Number 4’s Mark Henry did the mix.
