Failte Ireland - Galway

This new 20” spot by DDFH&B is part of the current series of Failte Ireland commercials now on our screens. Using an amalgamation of footage from the original 90” commercial and new photographed elements, this version advertises the upcoming Galway Fleadh and Arts Festival.
Motion Graphics Designer Owen Derby, created these five new 20”s in After Effects by separating out elements from the original stills and recompositing them back into frame with new depth. He then animated the still photographs by placing small subtle amounts of action back within the frame (horse’s breath, slow motion fire etc).
The featured track which was written and performed by Dublin female duo Heathers, is also used throughout the other commercials in the current campaign.
