Spar “Christmas Trees”

Spar launches it’s Christmas campaign with the beautiful and charming commercial, featuring Christmas trees in all sorts of unexpected places around the country. From an airport arrivals hall, to a suburban tennis court, to the Dursey Island cable car in remote West Cork, we see Christmas brought to every corner of the country courtesy of Spar.
The commercial was directed by Mike and Enda from DADDY, produced by Paul Holmes of Red Rage. The commercial was shot and posted earlier in the year, and the biggest challenge for Windmill, was to bring an authentic wintery look to some of the shots, including freezing over a lake in Cork before adding a glowing Christmas tree.
Editing suite duties were taken by Lee Hickey, whilst the chilly grade was from Dave Hughes in Baselight.
