This spring saw Martin Birney traveling to India with his P2 HD Camcorder to shoot the Gaeljin produced documentary ‘A Rose to India’.  This is the second documentary Martin has worked on with Gaeljin having completed the ‘Horslips Rotha Mor an tSaoil’ documentary which aired recently on TG4.  Pictured above, L-R, are Daniel, Gerry, Martin, and Brian who all worked on the studio based game show ‘Frenemies’ produced by Adare Productions.  In ‘Frenemies’ teen contestants debate real-life dilemmas, and how best to solve them.

Daniel recently travelled back to Planet Jedward to do sound on ‘OMG It’s Eurovision’ produced by Kite Entertainment/Animo TV Ltd.  The show aired on RTE2 just before the semi-finals of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. Daniel also worked on last year’s hugely successful ‘OMG It’s Jedward’ which two months after the show aired, was released on DVD and became the third best-selling Music DVD of the year in Ireland in 2010.

Last month also saw Brian Moore take the role of DOP on three episodes of ‘Rent-A-Friend’ for RTE Storyland, a comedy drama set in Kilkenny where two friends, with few opportunities, decide to sell the only asset they have - their friendship. Unfortunately as far as friendship goes these two are offering the worst deal on the market.
